Traveller is Marc Miller's sci-fi role-playing game set in "the Far Future". It has an excellent wealth of background material (that I am not using). It has been around since ~1977, and made it through a fourth edition just a couple years ago. I am using the (some would say heretical) Traveller: The New Era (3rd edition) rules for my campaign, although I have imported some 4th edition Traveller as well as MegaTraveller (2nd edition) material (as well as coming up with my own home-grown rules).
ACCRETE2, a Traveller-compatible version
of ACCRETE (found
at the 3D-Starmaps
web page). Accrete2 mod 2 for DOS generates a solar system by simulating
the accretion of dust into planetary bodies. Only the executable and
spreadsheets are included. Sourcecode,
makefile, and BC++ 4.xx project files are available upon request.
This edition allows the user to
specify a mainworld UWP and forces placement of the mainworld within the
habitable zone.
Grey Skyes, a description of my Traveller: The New Era -based
campaign. The campaign is set in the late AD 2290's on a TL-13 Earth. The 3-D starmap
is based on the 2300AD Near Star List.
